How It Works

So now you’re all excited to get started, your first step would be to grab your FREE Initial CONSULTATION with us. We start ALL of our commissioned work by having a chat with our clients. We take time for us to get to know each other and talk about your project. Following this consultation, we then more or less follow this process below:

+ PRICE QUOTE

After our conversation, we’ll go over everything and put together a quote for all the services we recommend for your particular goals. The price quote will be valid for 7 days or a new quote will be reissued after that. The quote may be revised if you’d like to add or remove services.

+ THE CONTRACT

Once you’ve decided we are the best fit, we’ll draft up a contract of service. This will cover both of our responsibilities and hold us accountable to each other, including meeting deadlines outlined in the calendar (this is because we might turn away other projects while we’re doing yours). The contract may be signed electronically or printed out, signed and scanned. Both will be considered to have equal legal weight.

+ DEPOSIT

Once the contract is signed, we will send you an invoice for the total price and we require 50% Deposit to start the project. Payment can be made by Bank Transfer.

+ PROJECT CALENDAR

Once we’ve received the deposit, we will send you a calendar with the deadlines of the project. Please look them over carefully and let us know in advance if you will have any conflicts. Deadlines work two ways, and in order to deliver the finished products in time we count on your timely feedback and provision of the correct files. We won’t be responsible for delivering the project by the original deadline if you are delayed in meeting your feedback deadlines, so please keep this in mind.

Also, if we don’t hear from you for more than 30 days without warning, the project will be cancelled and you’ll be billed for all work that has been done. A re-booking fee will be charged to re-start the project after this point. So in short, let’s all be punctual and everything will run smoothly.

+ REVISIONS

We know from experience that fixed-price contract are rarely beneficial to you as they often limit you to your first idea about how something should look or might work. We don’t want to limit your options or your opportunities to change your mind. We allow up to two rounds of revisions of the items listed in the deliverables. The quotation we provide to you is based on the number of hours that we estimate we’ll need to accomplish everything that you tell us you want to achieve. If you do want to change your mind, add extra services or time, that won’t be a problem. You’ll be charged either a fixed item price or our hourly rate for additional revisions or items not included in the original project scope. We ask you to put requests in writing so we can keep track of changes.

+ THE CONTENT

We’re not responsible for creating or inputting any content (text, images, etc.) unless specifically stated in the project quote and contract. We do offer copywriting and content creation, so just ask so we can incorporate it into the project quote. The deadline for your content will be specified in your project calendar. If no or only some of the content is provided by the deadline, we’ll use demo text such as lorem ipsum and demo images. You’ll be responsible for replacing the demo text later on or we can do it for you at our hourly rate.

You should supply graphic files in an editable, vector digital format. You should supply photographs in a high resolution digital format. If you choose to buy stock photographs, we can suggest stock libraries. If you’d like us to search for photographs for you, we can provide a separate estimate for that.

+ LOGO

We offer Branding Strategy Consultation. If you do require a logo for your brand, we work regularly with trusted remote Graphic Artists, who can be contacted through us, and their work will be invoiced separately.

+ WEBSITES

The website will be developed on our own hosting account, and you’ll be provided with the link so that you can accompany the process. The website will be transferred to the final domain upon payment of the final portion of the project cost. Domain and hosting will be your responsibility or we can do it for you but it will be billed separately as it needs to be registered under your name.

+ SOCIAL MEDIA

The quote will be either for a one-off set up, campaign, or monthly management. Unless content creation is included in the contract, we are not responsible for supplying clients for this.

+ CANCELLATION

We invest a lot of hard work, time and resources into each project. The estimate/quote we provide to you is based on the number of hours that we estimate we’ll need to accomplish everything that you tell us you want to achieve. For that reason, we want to make it clear that you are paying for a service and the payment rules are structured accordingly. If, at any stage, you’re not happy with the direction the work is taking, you’ll pay us in full for everything we’ve produced until that point and cancel our contract. This is regardless of whether you want the final product or not. However, we hope to find a better solution before letting it come to this.
